HEALTH INSURANCE – For current employees, we have three options through Blue Cross Blue Shield: HMO Network Blue New England, HMO Custom Network Plan (Limited), and PPO Blue Care Elect. Individual and family plan rates are available. The Town contributes to 79% of the Individual plans and 66% of the Family plans.
DENTAL INSURANCE – For current employees, we have two options through Blue Cross Blue Shield: Dental Blue Freedom High plan & Dental Blue Enhanced Value Low plan. Individual and family plan rates are available. The subscriber pays 100% of the premium.
VISION INSURANCE – For current employees we offer Blue 20/20 Exam-Plus Vision plan. You have a choice of individual, family, individual + spouse & individual + child(ren). The subscriber pays 100% of the premium.
LIFE INSURANCE – The Standard Insurance Company administers the Basic Life Insurance. The town contributes 50% of the Life Insurance premium up to $10,000 on active employees. The Standard Policy also has an option for additional insurance. The additional premium is 100% paid by the employee.
UNUM – LONG & SHORT TERM DISABILITY – This is a disability program for employees enrolled in Mass. Teacher’s Retirement.
SHORT-TERM DISABILITY, LIFE, ACCIDENT & CANCER INSURANCE - AFLAC (American Family Life Assurance Company) administers this insurance.
457 DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN – Empower Retirement Services administers the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Deferred Compensation Plan.

FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT & DEPENDENT CARE ACCOUNT – Voya is administering the FSA. An FSA allows you to pay certain Health Care and/or Dependent Care expenses with pre-tax money. Their website is www.benstrat.com.
Literature and forms on all benefit plans will be available in Human Resources, located at Central Office.
