Tara O’Keefe graduated from Saint Michael’s in 1997 with a BS in Psychology. She went on to earn a Massage Therapy degree in 2000, owning Massage Matters/Inside Out Health and Wellness until she went on to get her Nursing degree from Salem State in 2008. After working eight years on a telemetry (cardiac monitoring) floor at Beverly Hospital, she came to NES to pursue school nursing in 2015. Tara is now a master- prepared, nationally certified school nurse. She helps teach Life Skills at NES and Sexual Education at the Middle School. Tara lives in Ipswich with her husband and two young children. Tara works closely with staff and families to achieve the best health outcome for students.

Andrea Kershaw graduated from MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2008 with a Master's Degree in Nursing. Over the past 14 years she has worked in many realms; including diabetes and kidney transplant. She is a certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES). Andrea lives in West Newbury with her husband and two children.

Erin Barton graduated from Saint Joseph's College in 1997 with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She started on a medical/surgical floor and within six months moved to the Emergency Department. Over the past 24 years in the ED, Erin has held many roles, from staff nurse, charge nurse to part of the administration team as the nurse leader. She has acquired many certifications in the process from basic life saving skills to advanced cardiac life saving skills, advanced pediatric life saving skills, trauma care of adults and pediatrics, as well as neonatal care. Erin lives in Newbury with her husband and two young children.

Claudia Small graduated with a BSN from Salem State in 1991. Claudia began her career at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Boston in the Critical Care Division of Cardiothoracic Nursing. She has worked as a Nursing Field Supervisor for a home health agency in Boston helping meet the needs of individuals in underserved communities. Claudia started a school health program at a private school on the north shore. She has continued to provide internship/mentorship opportunities for undergraduate nursing students since 2016. Claudia worked in Newburyport, MA as a School Nurse at the Bresnahan Elementary School prior to coming to Triton Middle School. Claudia counts it a blessing to work at Triton Middle School and provide nursing care at a school where her own children attended.

Nadine Marcheterre graduated from Fitchburg State College in 1987 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Her career has been focused on the care of children and women. She has cared for severely disabled children in the home and school setting. Nadine also has worked in the fields of Fertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology helping women to achieve their family planning goals. Nadine has worked in the Triton School district since 2013. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two adult daughters on Plum Island. Her hobbies are gardening, reading and going to the theater.
