TST Campus will continue to be closed through May 4. At this time, we are unsure when our regular school schedule will resume. We urge all families to practice social distancing by staying home during these times to help shorten the length of this pandemic. We will continue to update you each week on Thursdays as the ever-changing Coronavirus situation continues.
Remote learning began on Monday, March 23. Information will be available and assignments posted on myTST each Friday on each course's class bulletin board. If you have forgotten your login credentials, you can click "forgot login or first time logging in" and then enter the email address we have on file for you. If you need any assistance with myTST or Google, please contact Erica Fisher at efisher@trinityschooloftexas.com. Faculty and staff will be working remotely and can be contacted during normal school hours by myTST or email should you need anything.
In an effort to provide instruction and activities for your children, our teachers have posted what may seem to be a lot of work. While our upper school students and many, if not most, of our middle school students will need little parental assistance with their assignments, we realize early childhood and lower school students do need more supervision and help from parents to complete their work. We understand many of you still have time-consuming job responsibilities and are working from home. It is not our intent to overwhelm you.
Students work at different speeds, and to do all of the assignments that have been posted may not be a reasonable expectation for all of our students. Please feel free to use your judgment about how much is enough. Our specials teachers have posted assignments on myTST, and while we hope they will be enjoyable, you may choose for your children to work on them when, and if, they have time. Moving forward, all plans for the week for all classes will be posted on myTST class bulletin boards. As long as students make reasonable efforts to maintain their learning during these difficult times, no one will be penalized for assignments undone when we are back together on campus. We simply want to provide you everything you need as a parent to help maintain your children’s learning, and again, we trust you to decide how much time you are able to devote to this. If you have to prioritize, reading and math should come first.
We will continue to send out weekly general updates on Thursdays via email.
Titan Tidbits will resume this Sunday.
Blog posts will be posted on Mondays on the TST website: www.trinityschooloftexas.com.
Early Childhood and Lower School Morning Announcements will be posted daily on the myTST Titan Talk Resource Board. The morning announcement on Friday will be Friday Chapel.
Wednesday Chapel will be posted weekly on myTST Wednesday Chapel Resource Board.
If you need technology assistance, please call or text Erica Fisher at this special number, 903.309.0092, during the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Monday - Friday or email efisher@trinityschooloftexas.com anytime.
We are all in this together. We will continue to work to improve things weekly.
Sincerely,
Gary Whitwell

Each user can set up text/ email notification settings to receive alerts when certain items are posted, when a message is received, when sports are scheduled or cancelled, etc. Every class/ subject in which your child is enrolled has a virtual bulletin board and is the place all remote learning details will be posted.
