Chorus Opportunities

• Students in grades 3-4-5 will have the opportunity to sing in the "TRI-tones Chorus" starting in February of 2027! Students meet after school from 3:30-4:15 p.m. in the music room on several Tuesdays and Thursdays in preparation for a performance on Fine Arts Night! More information will come to students in January!

• Trinity students also have the opportunity to audition for a chorus through the Orchestra Iowa School (located next to the Paramount Theater). These choruses are made up of students all around Cedar Rapids from numerous schools and they rehearse on various Sunday afternoons throughout the year. 

• Auditions will be held at the Orchestra Iowa building on Wed Sept 2 and Thurs Sept 3 anytime between 4:00-5:30 p.m.

"Harmony Chorus" is for Kindergarten and 1st graders and is directed by Mrs. Carly Schieffer. They rehearse on Sundays from 2:30-3:15 p.m.

"Odyssey Chorus" is for 2nd and 3rd graders and is directed by Mrs. Carly Schieffer. They rehearse on Sundays from 1:15-2:15 p.m.

"Discovery Chorus" is for 4th-5th-6th graders and is directed by me. This chorus sings on the Paramount Theatre stage with Orchestra Iowa. We rehearse on Sundays from 2:30-4:00 p.m.
