A MONUMENT PRESERVING MARITIME HISTORY
DEDICATED TO THOSE LOST OR BURIED AT SEA
The Trinidad Civic Club and the Cher-Ae Heights Indian Community of the Trinidad Rancheria began the Trinidad Memorial Lighthouse construction project on July 24, 2023. The Trinidad Memorial Lighthouse Monument will preserve historic aids to navigation, honor Trinidad's maritime history and memorialize those lost or buried at sea.

Wondering What Happened to the Trinidad Memorial Lighthouse?
Coastal erosion made it necessary to relocate the Lighthouse. The Cher-ae Heights Indian Community of the Trinidad Rancheria came to the Trinidad Civic Club’s rescue when they offered a temporary location at the harbor.
