A MONUMENT PRESERVING MARITIME HISTORY
DEDICATED TO THOSE LOST OR BURIED AT SEA
The Tribe and the Civic Club are working closely with GR Sundberg, Inc. and Trinity Valley Consulting Engineers to minimize impact on access to the Harbor area during construction. We thank the local community for their ongoing support with this project and ask for patience and understanding as we complete the Trinidad Memorial Lighthouse Monument.
Wondering What Happened to the Trinidad Memorial Lighthouse?
Coastal erosion made it necessary to relocate the Lighthouse. The Cher-ae Heights Indian Community of the Trinidad Rancheria came to the Trinidad Civic Club’s rescue when they offered a temporary location at the harbor. With construction beginning in Summer 2023, the "Lighthouse in Limbo" phase is almost over!
