Social Psychology

Social Psychology is a really popular area of psychology. It involves studying the social processes that influence our thoughts and behaviour. Some of the areas you will study are: reasons for why people conform, reasons why people obey authority figures, how a minority can influence people, and how they can instigate social change.

This topic covers some very famous and controversial psychological experiments, such as Milgram's obedience study, Zimbardo's Standford prison experiment, and Asch's 'line' experiment.
