You will need to write 2 essays:

- comparison of language, structure and form in 2 extracts
- 1 extract will be from the text you have studied (DNA, AIC or Animal Farm)
- the other extract will be from a text you have not studied before
- out of 20 marks (AO1, AO2, AO3)

- explore how language, structure and form are used to present a character/theme in moments from the text you have studied
- you will not have a copy of the text, so you will need to remember key quotations for characters, plot and themes!
- out of 20 marks (AO1, AO2 - not AO3!)

You will get a choice of 2 essay questions
You need to write 1 essay! Either:

- Explore how x is presented in the extract and elsewhere in the novel. Aim to make at least one detailed link to elsewhere
- you will not have a copy of the novel, so you will need to remember key quotations for your links to elsewhere!

- Examine the view that... Refer to at least 2 moments from the novel
- you will not have a copy of the novel, so you will need to remember key quotations for your whole essay!
