Releasing a TASDK based application follows a simple process.
After getting access to the SDK and evaluating the features a developer can apply for an application.
Applying for an application contains different steps like signing the TASDK contract and receiving application specific information like application ID and license name.
With the application ID and license name an application can be published to TIM and made available for testers. Assuming a prototype was developed during evaluation this may be published via TIM to a selected amount of users.
After feedback was provided the application my be submitted to certification.
Trimble certification is a one-time process in which Trimble verifies that all important application details like part numbers, EULA and support email are in place.
Afterwards the application is available via TIM and may or may not be sold via the Trimble Store as detailed in the contract.
Updating an existing application is identical to releasing a new application.
The major difference is that the Trimble Certification process is skipped; after an application got certified once a developer can publish applications on his own without further delay.
Application release are managed via the TIM application management form available under Plugin Submission.
