Camps hosted by local therapy (Speech, OT, PT) clinics:
3 Camp Options: Social Skills (2 age groups), Fine Motor (OT), Bike Riding
Once a week
Age range: 3-12 years old
TEAM Camp includes 3 therapies- OT, PT, and Speech (2 age groups)
New PT camps and food camp
Once or twice a week
Age Range: 3-12+ years old
*FREE* program offered to all Wayne County Students involved in special education, ages 14 to 21.
Focuses on vocational training, on-site job exploration, self-advocacy, and socialization.
Open all levels of students on IEPs (not just those who are served by the Board of DD).
June 3rd – July 3rd Mon.–Thurs., 8:15am–1pm, Lunch provided
All overnight camps (no day camp options)
Located in Perrysville, Ashland County
Ages 6-8: Nuhop Jr. Camp (half week)
Ages 8-18: Traditional Camp (full week)
-Also a half-week "mini camp" option for ages 9-12
Hiking, camping, swimming, canoeing, ropes course, crafts, and activities
"Serving children with neurodiversities, including learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, autism spectrum disorders as well as their “typical” peers."

Special Olympics athletes must be at least 8 years old and have a developmental disability.

Adaptive Sports Ohio (ASO)
Dream Camp- a weekend of adaptive sports and recreation! During this overnight camp, participate in Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Softball, Kayaking, Swimming, Track, High Ropes, Games, Campfire, and more!
July 12-14, Youth with Disabilities, aged 7-18.

Everyone Plays Camp- A *FREE* five week summer adaptive sports camp featuring lots of sports, games and fun!
Youth (6-12 years old) with a physical disability
June – July 2024 (Specific dates TBD), Mon-Weds. mornings

Early Childhood Play Groups (Drop-in, no weekly/monthly commitment)
Holmes County Board of DD Play Groups: The Holmes County Early Intervention and Learning Bridge programs are pleased to offer monthly playgroups at the Holmes County Board of DD. These playgroups are open to the public, and all children 16 months to 5 years of age are encouraged to attend.

EJ Therapy Play Groups (Wooster and Canal Fulton) EJ’s gym will be open for play! Each session will include a short, structured acctivity followed by child-led free play. Play sessions will be supervised by a skilled therapist who will be available to guide children in play. Parents are encouraged to stay in the gym and play!
