Eligibility requirements :
Be a high school senior at the time of the application
Be African American, Hispanic American, Asian Pacific Islander American, American Indian / Alaskan Native
Be a citizen, legal permanent resident, or national of the United States
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on an unweighted 4.0 scale
Pursued a rigorous course of study in high school in math and science courses, including pre-calculus
Have demonstrated financial and unmet need as measured by the student’s college or university
Show evidence of readiness for and commitment to pursue STEM majors, including biological/life sciences, physics, chemistry, computer science/engineering, information sciences, engineering (industrial, mechanical, electrical or chemical), mathematics
Be enrolled for the first time at a U.S.-located, accredited college or university (with the exception of students concurrently pursuing a high school diploma while taking college-level courses) in the fall as a full-time, degree-seeking, first-year student
"We are launching a new Scholarship this year and wanted to make you and your students aware of the opportunity. Below is a link to the online application. All seniors who plan to continue their education through college, trade school or certification program after high school graduation and currently attend high school in one of the counties we serve are eligible to apply. Students will be evaluated on the VCNB values of Integrity, Leadership, Progress, Relationships and Community. Two students will win $500 gift cards and one student will receive a $5,000 scholarship." Eligibility:
Current high school seniors who live in or attend high school in one of the following counties; Fairfield, Franklin, Hocking, Jackson, Licking, Pickaway, Ross, and Vinton. Homeschool seniors are eligible if they reside in the aforementioned counties.
Sam Jones Trimble Promise Scholarship
The Sam Jones Trimble Promise Scholarship removes financial barriers and provides Trimble High School graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on education in high-demand fields. Students and families will be guided through the FAFSA process, ensuring they complete the necessary steps for financial aid eligibility and maximizing their opportunities for a debt-free college education.

The Elks National Scholarship Foundation will be awarding scholarships to 500 students this year, and we’d love if students from (High School) would apply.

The Coolidge Scholarship (JUNIORS ONLY)
The Coolidge Scholarship is a full-ride, four-year, merit scholarship that recipients may use for undergraduate study at any accredited college or university in the United States. Any high school junior who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2026 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident is eligible to apply (current high school seniors are not eligible to apply). Winners may use the scholarship to pursue any academic major.

NROTC Preparatory Scholarships allow interested high school students, who show great potential via grades, character, and extra-curricular activities but might lack standardized test scores or advanced high school courses, to apply for one-year university, or privately funded scholarships. University NROTC Prep programs are designed to provide students the educational foundation necessary for success in the NROTC program and Navy.
