Kindergarten Grading Policy and Assessment Information
Kindergarten students will be assessed on Common Core Standards. They will be given at least 2 attempts on these assessments (if needed), with the highest score recorded for their grade. In order for students to meet grade level expectations, they need to earn an 85% or higher. Students with a score of 84% or lower have not met the grade level expectation for that assessment yet. Our goal for our students is mastery of the skills that we assess, so they will have a solid base on which to build their learning. Therefore, we will continue to work on any skill in which the student has not met the 85% goal.
