Meet The Teacher

Hi and welcome to our classroom! I am so excited to meet our class this year. I grew up in Taylorville, not too far away from here, and I am so lucky to be apart of this community.  I studied Education at Lindenwood University, and have been working in the elementary school since. This will be my third year teaching third grade. 

I am 26 years old and I have one younger sister! Out of the classroom, I love spending time with my family and my friends, specifically watching Disney, Halloween or Christmas movies!! I am a lover of dinosaurs and one of my favorite science units we start off with inclcudes dinosaurs. I cannot wait for the kiddos to learn this unit. 

I am going to do my best to make this classroom a supporting and engaging room. My goal this year is to keep my kiddos motivated and to keep learning more every day. I am looking forward to this year together! I can't wait for all the memories we will share.
