MatProp operates the Matprop Attendance Application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App. 

1. Information We Collect 

    We may collect the following categories of information:

• Personal Information: Name, email address, employee ID, and profile details provided by your organization.

• Location Information: GPS-based location data when marking attendance. Used only while the app is in use. Background location is not collected unless explicitly required by your organization.

• Camera & Photos: Photos taken during attendance check-in/out. Images may include overlays (timestamp, geotag) for validation.

• Device & Usage Information: Device identifiers, crash reports, and analytics data. Internet and network state details to ensure proper connectivity.

• Stored Data: Login session and preferences stored securely on-device using encrypted storage.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Attendance verification using camera and location.

• Authentication and profile management.

• Leave management (apply for and view leave requests).

• Sending important work-related notifications.

• Analytics and app improvement.

3. Permissions We Request

    The App may request the following permissions:

• Camera: To capture attendance photos.

• Location (While Using the App): To geotag attendance.

• Internet & Network State: To sync data with servers.

• Local Storage: To save login details and app settings.

We do not request unnecessary permissions. If background location appears in the App, it will only be used if required by your organization, and you will be informed   beforehand.

   Use of Information

• We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

• Access to data is restricted to your employer’s organization and authorized administrators.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. Although the App does not collect or store any personal information, the organizational data you access through the App is protected by the security measures in place by Triassic Solutions PVT LTD. We take appropriate steps to safeguard any information transmitted through the App.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect any changes in the App’s functionality or permissions. When we update the policy, we will notify you by updating the effective date at the top of this document.
