A Very Bulldog Christmas at TMS
It was the last week before Christmas break at Trenton Middle School, and the building was buzzing with excitement. Lockers were decorated, ugly sweaters were everywhere, and the smell of hot chocolate floated through the halls. But something very unusual was about to happen.
Late one snowy afternoon, Santa Claus himself landed his sleigh on the practice field behind the school. He scratched his beard, looked at the building, and muttered, “Ho ho… wow. That’s a lot of Bulldogs.”
Santa had received a special report from the North Pole that TMS had been extra good this year. But before he could unload the presents meant just for the staff and students, he realized something was wrong. His magical Naughty or Nice list had vanished.
Panicking, Santa hurried into the school and immediately ran into Mr. Hostetter.
“Santa?” Mr. Hostetter blinked. “What is going on here?”
Santa explained the problem, and Mr. Hostetter didn’t hesitate. “Don’t worry. We’ve got the best staff around. We’ll help you.”
Within minutes, Mr. Cool arrived with a clipboard. “Alright,” he said calmly, “let’s keep this organized. No running in the halls, even for elves.”
The search began.
Down in the gym, Coach Clark and Coach King were leading an intense holiday dodgeball game. When Santa asked if they had seen the list, Coach King laughed. “Only list we’ve got is who still owes push-ups.” Coach Clark added, “But if it flew by, it probably had some serious speed.”
In the computer lab, Mrs. Golden was busy helping Santa try to track the list digitally. “Good news,” she said, typing quickly. “Bad news. It’s too magical for Google Drive.”
Meanwhile, Mrs. Mounce was in the art room, where students had made glittery decorations that could be seen from space. “If it sparkles, I probably touched it,” she said thoughtfully, inspecting a pile of tinsel.
Over in the FACS room, Mrs. Bridges handed Santa a cookie. “You can’t search on an empty stomach,” she insisted. Santa agreed. Quality baking skills always earned extra nice points.
At the front office, Mrs. Clark and Mrs. Ferguson, the secretaries, were already on the case. “If that list came through this building,” Mrs. Ferguson said confidently, “we would have known.” Mrs. Clark nodded. “Nothing gets past this desk.”
Feeling a bit stressed, Santa stopped by Mrs. Woodard, the counselor, who reminded him to take a deep breath. “Even Santa needs a moment sometimes,” she said kindly.
Finally, Santa checked with Mrs. McCall, the school nurse, who smiled and said, “I haven’t seen your list, but I do recommend some rest and maybe less cookie sampling.”
Just when it seemed all hope was lost, Mr. Cool noticed something shiny sticking out of the trophy case. There it was, the Naughty or Nice list, accidentally stuck by a magnet shaped like a Bulldog.
Santa laughed, relief flooding his face. “Ho ho ho! I should have known this school would save Christmas!”
Before leaving, Santa made one last announcement over the intercom.
“Attention TMS. Every single Bulldog made the Nice list this year.”
Cheers echoed through the halls as Santa took off into the snowy sky, leaving behind presents, smiles, and a reminder that teamwork makes even Christmas magic stronger.
And that is how Trenton Middle School proved once again that showing Respect, Responsibility, and building good Relationships gets the job done, even at the North Pole.
Merry Christmas, TMS!
