VPA is dedicated to creating an artistic community that will support and respect each other.
Together, all stakeholders provide a rigorous learning experience that begins the moment students walk into the building and lasts the rest of their lives.

COSMETOLOGY
COSMETOLOGY
VPA Cosmetology is a 3 year intensive program of study for students that blends, book study, online learning, and practical hands on experiences. Students will graduate with their NJ State Board of Cosmetology licenses upon successful completion of the program and the state exams.
Dance
Dance
Students in the Trenton Public School District can enroll in the 3-year Dance CTE Program and train in the styles of Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and other styles presented by guest artists. Using these styles, students will learn Anatomy, Dance History, Improvisation and Choreography.

Theatre
Theatre
VPA Theatre is a 3 year CTE program. The students learn acting techniques, theatre history, technical production skills, stage and house management, and arts administrative business.
Visual Art
Visual Art
The Visual Arts are offered to all students as a graduation requirement and elective credits. Students are taught general Art techniques and applications, and can later hone their skills in advanced classes.
