Trent ISD CTE programs prepare students for career pathways in the global marketplace by offering experiential learning, post-secondary credits and industry certifications. Students will gain technical and high-level academic skills, equipping them to be lifelong learners.
Our goal is to empower all Trent ISD CTE students to confidently and successfully transition into post-secondary and career opportunities and become positive, contributing members of society.
Career and Technical Education (CTE): An educational program that specializes in the skilled trades, applied sciences, modern technologies, and career preparation.
Career & Technical Education Student Organization (CTSO): Student organizations that integrate with a student's program of study such as DECA & FFA
College, Career, & Military Readiness (CCMR): The Division of College, Career, and Military Preparation (CCMP) works to ensure that all Texas high school students have access to high-quality pathways to career and college.
CTE Program of Study: Coherent sequences of courses, industry-based certifications, and work-based learning to ensure students are prepared for in-demand, high-skill, high-wage careers in Texas.
