Translation Commons, aims to provide a reliable and scalable method of digitally rendering a language. We seek to solve the problem that unrepresented languages have in participating in a global communications network. Translation Commons is in a unique position to be the Language Technology partner to organizations addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Our social-civil society partnership with International Year of Indigenous Languages and working with UNESCO has solidified our commitment to the next 12 years Action Plan for the International Decade of Indigenous Languages.

The International Year of Indigenous Languages is a UNESCO initiative and Translation Commons is a social-civil society partner committed to produce Language Technology resources for indigenous communities.

The Endangered Languages Project is a collaborative online space which brings together language communities, scholars, and the public to strengthen the world's languages. ELP provides information and resources to support the people working to document and revitalize languages, while connecting and celebrating language efforts around the world.

PanLex is building the world’s largest lexical translation database, and we keep adding new words and languages all the time. By transforming thousands of translation dictionaries into a single common structure, the PanLex database makes it possible to derive billions of lexical translations that are not found in any single dictionary.

The Script Encoding Initiative is a project that assists user communities get eligible characters and scripts into the Unicode Standard, so they will eventually be accessible on computers and mobile devices. The focus of SEI is on the characters used in modern minority languages and in historic languages.

Masterword Inc works with languages of limited diffusion and trains new linguists. The company is facilitating many TC programs and donating employees' time to participate in the Language Digitization Initiative.

The Localization Research Center (LRC) is located at the University of Limerick (UL) and is the information, research and educational centre for the localization industry. The LRC co-operates at national and international level with researchers and students, the media, consultancy firms, government agencies, and the European Commission.

The focus is Human Language Technology, with members at different institutes of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. We deal both with foundational issues of linguistics and with several areas of language technology.

The goal of the Algonquian Linguistic Atlas is to co-create an on-line, multimedia linguistic atlas of Algonquian languages. The creation of this atlas allows us to offer many training opportunities for sound editing and linguistic description training to Indigenous students. One of our goals is also to create contacts between curriculum developers, language specialists and lexicographers of Algonquian languages, with a focus on on-line language resources and dictionaries.
