My teaching philosophy is centered on creating a vibrant and inclusive sanctuary for learning. I believe that true education flourishes in an environment that actively welcomes and celebrates the diversity of every student. By intentionally weaving Neurodiversity-affirming practices and the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) into my lessons, I ensure that every student has a pathway to success. In my classroom, we build personal connections, engage our senses, and collaborate to solve problems. Information is presented in multiple ways and broken into manageable chunks, with scaffolding provided every step of the way, to create a focused space where all learners can thrive.
