MEET THE STAFF

Matthew McLean PT, DPT

I graduated with my Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota. I moved to Colorado following graduation and  managed an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Littleton for 6 years prior to opening Trailhead Physical Therapy. I enjoy working with sports injuries and rehabilitation as well as correction of dysfunctional movement. I am certified with the Titleist Performance Institute for Golf Performance and enjoy working with golfers to improve their game and allow them to play pain-free golf. I also utilize the Selective Functional Movement Assessment to correct dysfunctional and painful movements with all of my clients. I have my certification in Trigger Point Dry Needling and utilize that technique for pain relief, injury rehabilitation, and to improve soft tissue mobility. I enjoy all the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer and life at home with my wife and 2 daughters.

Kayla Dockendorf PT, DPT

I grew up on a family operated dairy farm in Minnesota. Some of my fondest memories are from morning chores with my 3 brothers. I attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN for my bachelors in biological sciences and was accepted at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center for my doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. I've lived in Colorado for just under a year and I've already become completely enamored with the mountains. I enjoy skiing, biking, hiking, reading, gardening, and a good brewery. I chose physical therapy as my career because it's medicine that I truly believe in. I am looking forward to working in this community!
