Tracy Sister City Association 

2024-2025 Memuro Youth Exchange Program Application  

The Sister City Association of Tracy is seeking qualified eighth grade students who demonstrate maturity, responsibility and leadership skills to represent the City of Tracy in Tracy’s sister city of Memuro, Japan in June, 2025.

Established over 30 years ago to promote friendship and cross-cultural understanding with our Sister City in Memuro, the Youth Exchange Program has proven to be a wonderful experience for over 300 Tracy-area 8th grade students.

Parent Information Meeting

Parent Information Meetings will be held in September to discuss the Youth Exchange Program. Discussion topics will include an introduction to Memuro, Japan, trip details, program expectations, home stay experience overview, costs, expenses and fundraising expectations, and the application process.
