Welcome to my website:
Hello, and welcome to my website. My name is Kris Salmon, I am a reading and math interventionist at Tracy Elementary School. I live on Lake Shetek with my husband Jeff, and my dog Tuli. I have 2 sons, Reed and Blake. Reed graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN. and lives in Richfield, MN with his wife Madi and their daughters, Lennon and Scottie, and their fur babies Finley and Rio. Blake attended Lake Area Tech in Watertown, SD. for AG business, and lives outside of Slayton with his son Baylor and fur babies Louie, Ringo, and Jasper. This is my 35th year teaching at Tracy Elementary. I started out in ECSE for one year, followed by Kindergarten, 4th grade, 1st grade, 3rd grade, and now reading and math intervention. In my free time, I like to read(LOTS), and spend time with my family.
Read, read, and read some more!!! Reading is very very important to your child's school success. Please encourage your child to read at least 30 minutes each day. Reading success will ensure success in other subject areas as well.
If at any time you have questions or concerns, please feel free to call or email me.
