EVALUATION
All assignments will be given a point value and grouped with similar assignments. 33% of your grade will be calculated on the completion of daily assignments and on task work, 34% will be calculated on the projects, quiz and test scores, and the final 33% on keyboarding technique and skill improvement.
Daily work will be awarded as a weekly grade with each day having a value of 5 points. If a student is absent, they must make up the learning target from that day to earn the daily points.
Daily assignments and drop boxes for turning in electronic documents are on Schoology.
EXPECTATIONS
Obey all TAHS rules
Follow directions the first time they are given
Respect the people, equipment, and furnishings in the classroom
DISTANCE LEARNING
At some point in the school year there may be a time that we are distance learning. A few things to remember.
· When attending a class zoom meeting it is important to be respectful to your classmates. Making sure that you are dressed appropriately, not laying in your bed, not on your cell phone, paying attention to what is happening in class.
· E-Learning day assignments will be posted by 10:00 am to Schoology. Assignment directions will describe hand-in details.
CLASS ETIQUETTE—helpful hints to get along with your teacher and peers in class
1. Please arrive on time for class. Entering class late is disruptive to others and on-going activities. Do NOT come to class and then ask me to go to your locker or the bathroom. You have time to take care of that between classes. If it is work time, you may ask to have your planner signed to get a drink or go use the rest room but do not wander or disrupt others learning or you will lose your privileges to use the rest room or get a drink during class time.
2. When I am talking; you should be listening.
3. If you have a question, ASK. Class activities will be posted in Schoology also.
4. If you miss class, you are responsible for obtaining your make-up assignments.
Please start your getting-ready-to-leave activities (packing up computer, putting on jackets, changing into your running outfit) only after the class has officially ended which is when the bell rings or when directed by your teacher. Properly log off of your computer, carefully pack up your backpack, push your chair in, and throw away any trash that you have generated before leaving.
