Work Plan for the week
Our theme for the next 2 weeks is "Water".
There are lots of fun water- themed activities on the site this week, such as the water themed PE / Outdoor ideas, the water Sensory ideas and the stories "I'm the Biggest Thing in the Ocean", and "The Rainbow Fish".

PE and Fitness Activities
Bottle Flip Challenge
Do 3 Jumping Jacks = 2 bottle flips.
1 point for every successful flip.
How many points can you get in 60 seconds?
(Try this using different exercises - squats, burpees, high knees etc)
Moovlee Gross Motor
A lovely simple video to practice Gross Motor Skills.
Moovlee has excellent calming videos for everyday or to help with calming after stress.
Dance - Under the Sea
Practice this dance on Youtube or if you have the Just Dance game at home you might be able to find it there!

Parents video on finger placement for best handwriting grip.
This video explains the best placement and positioning of fingers for handwriting.
The suggested activity can also be modified for lower muscle strength.
It is a good idea to encourage this positioning in writing.
