Wakelet is also integrated with Microsoft's Immersive Reader. Immersive Reader brings new life to the text in your Wakelet collections. The technology allows for text to be read aloud in a number of different languages, turning basic text into an engaging audio experience! With the exciting Read Mode feature, articles can be read aloud with Immersive Reader from within Wakelet.

SUB-COLLECTIONS - NEW FEATURE

Sub-collections are a new feature in Wakelet! To begin,

  1. Invite collaborators to your Wakelet collection by sharing a collaboration link , the collection's code or QR code. To add sub-collections to a collaborative collection, you CAN NOT be signed in (think students).

  2. Students or collaborators can click the 'Enter Code' link from the main website page. It will ask them to enter their name, and then take them to your collection. They will click the green 'Edit Collection' button

  3. Create a sub-collection by clicking the + button and select Create Collection. This creates a collection within your collection!

  4. Play around with it. Teachers can start a collection and ask students to add their work as sub-collections. This is a great feature for remote learning!
