Teacher Resources

FlipGrid is a social learning platform that allows educators to ask a question, then the students respond in a video. Students are then able to respond to one another, creating a “web” of discussion. Teachers can also set the ability for students to see each other's work off pending teacher approval. Using the camera on the student device, students can also take a picture of a paper/pencil assignment as a unique way to turn in work. Flipgrid has also partnered with other online applications to create a richer experience for students. There are a series of videos below to help you get started in your FlipGrid journey.

Teachers have the option to:

  • record a video

  • upload a video (perhaps created in Google Slides and Screencastify)

  • use a YouTube video

  • use a Vimeo video

  • upload an image

  • access a file from Google Drive

  • access a Kahoot

  • attach a Wakelet

  • attach a Newsela article

  • attach an Adobe Spark

  • attach content from Buncee
