TPS Summer Music

June 14 - July 9th

9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

The purpose of this program is to provide a musical experience in the early summer to help students retain skills that they have acquired during the school year. There is no cost for this ‘camp’, as we have been generously funded by the Topeka Schools Foundation, Pamela Johnson-Betts, Executive Director, without the Foundation’s support this program would not be possible.

Band and string students must have played at least one year in their school band or strings program or have taken private music lessons in grades 6th through 8th.

Summer Band

Description: The Topeka Public Schools Summer Music program provides an opportunity for students to participate in band beyond the regular school year. Each program will be presenting a concert. There is no fee to participate, the Topeka School Foundation graciously funds this program.

Grade: 6th through 8th

In-Person Location: TWHS

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am- 11:00 am

Closing Concert on July 8th - 6:00 PM

Summer Choir

Description: The Topeka Public Schools Summer Music program provides an opportunity for students to participate in choir beyond the regular school year. Each program will be presenting a concert. There is no fee to participate, the Topeka School Foundation graciously funds this program.
