In 2020, encouraged by her PTR & PTA Pro Elite mentor, she became a certified coach through the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR), and has since dedicated herself to coaching high school athletes and offering private lessons. “Coaching is all about the student,” she says. “It’s about teaching strong fundamentals that applies on and off the court helping young players grow into confident, capable and contributing leaders in today’s global world.”
Coach Jan is honored to carry on the rich championship legacy of the Falcons' tennis program. She resides in Carlsbad and is the proud mother of her daughter Rachael, continuing the family’s tennis tradition.
