Important Information from Athletics

2024 Season Dates:

July 29 - Aug 9, 2024 - Skills Camp 

Mon-Fri from 1-3pm at Torrey Pines Football Field. This is NOT required for tryouts.  Registration coming soon.

August 10, 2024 Fall Season Begins:  

Aug. 1oth is the first day of tryouts.  Note it is a Saturday from 9am-2pm. Tryouts will continue for 1-2 weeks after school.  Time TBD.  

Athletic Clearances:  Submit all your required forms on the Athletic Website.  You MUST submit a new clearance each school year.  The school will notify you if you have been cleared. If you haven't received a cleared email, please log back onto the CA website and it should indicate what forms are missing or incomplete for your child's clearance.    June 15, 2024 Due date for next season.

Parent Mandatory Online Requirement

Once your team rosters are established, please let the parent's of those who made the team know that they must complete the Mandatory Parent-Athlete Athletic Presentation -google form on the athletic website. 

Transportation Release Forms

The transportation release form is required for any parent driving their child to/from an athletic event instead of school provided transportation. Students can NOT drive themselves in place of a bus. A form must be emailed to me and a copy must must also be given to their respective coach. The form can be obtained on our athletic webpage. 

PE Credit Form

The PE Credit form is only for those sports which we do not currently have a PE class available for at TPHS. The list of eligible sports and more information is, you guessed it, on our athletic webpage here. Once the student, parent, and coach have signed the form, it is to be turned into the counseling office and NOT the athletics office.   Usually due Mid September
