TPCS Nature Tree

The TPCS Nature Tree was inspired by Eve Bunting's 1991 book Night Tree. One family has a unique Christmas tradition to decorate an evergreen tree deep in the forest with edible treats for all the woodland creatures. We began this tradition at TPCS in 2018, filling our campus woods with all natural student made ornaments.

A couple of curious raccoons explore pine cone treats set out by students in winter 2020. Opossum and cardinals also visited later that day.
