If you do not like the feelings you are experiencing (sadness, anger or fear), then we need to talk about what you are thinking and how you are acting. They are all related.
Have you ever thought or said those words? Most of us have, more than once. Let's look at the evidence...what have you been able to do successfully? Did you always do it perfectly, or did you have to learn over time? When you hear yourself thinking negatively, stop and question the evidence, then look for a positive or at least realistic way to say the same thing. Perhaps, "I cannot do this yet." or "If I practice, I will probably be able to learn this."
