BNERC：The 14th International Symposium on Bioscience and Nanotechnology
“The 14th International Symposium on Bioscience and Nanotechnology” was held on 24th and 25th November 2016 at the “Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre Annex: Beta” on the Kawagoe Campus, Toyo University, organised by the Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre and the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary New Science.
Professors Toru Maekawa and Masahiro Ito gave memorial talks in tribute to Professor Sir Harry Kroto and Professor Koki Horikoshi. We sincerely appreciate those most advanced scientists’ contribution to the development of nanoscience/technology, bioscience/technology and bio-nano science fusion. We discussed future “International research and educational collaboration” inviting an Indian professor, and two Science and Technology Officers from the EU-Japan Centre and the British Embassy.
Professor Hisao Morimoto, Dr Toru Mizuki, Dr Vivekanandan Palaninathan and Mr Ankit Borah gave talks on their latest results on 25th November. 45 posters were also presented by our young researchers and students.
