President of Université de NANTES visited Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre

On 9th May, 2013, Olivier Laboux, President of the University of Nantes, Oliveir Joubert, Professor, Serge Defois, Cabinet director of the President, Arnaud Poitou Audencia, Director of the Ecole Centrale de Nantes, and Kaddour Raissi, Attaché for Science and Technology, Embassy of France, visited the Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre (BNERC), Kawagoe, Toyo University. They had a tour of the βbuilding, completed in March, 2013, with its state-of-the-art facilities and expressed a strong interest in business-academia collaboration.

Toyo University concluded an agreement with the University of Nantes in December, 2012. The two institutes discussed the implementation of the double degree programme for doctoral students. Toyo University is planning to conduct the double degree programme at the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary New Science.
