BNERC: Invited talk at an International Seminar organised by the Delegation of the European Union to Japan and EURAXESS | Toyo University
An international seminar on “Benefits of participation in Horizon 2020: Innovative Training Networks for young researchers - a testimony by the "Enabling Excellence" project” was held on 25th May 2018 at the “Delegation of the European Union to Japan” .
Professor Toru Maekawa; the Director of the Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre, gave an invited talk on “Benefits of participation in Horizon 2020 as a non-EU partner”.
12 PhD candidates from EU universities also gave poster presentations on their achievements in nano science and nanotechnology research.
There were quite a few participants from academia and industries including officers in charge of science and technology from six embassies. The speakers and participants discussed future collaborative research and educational programmes on nanoscience and nanotechnology between EU and Japan.
