BNERC:The 15th International Symposium on Bioscience and Nanotechnology
The 15th International Symposium on Bioscience and Nanotechnology was held on 1st and 2nd December 2017 at the Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre (BNERC): Annex Beta. The symposium was also held as part of an external evaluation of the research and educational programmes carried out by BNERC and the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary New Science (IdNS). 200 people participated in the two-day symposium.
The symposium started with a special ceremony in cerebration of the renewal of the “PhD Double Degree Programme” between Toyo University and the University of Nantes.
Three plenary speakers from France gave talks on nano science and technology. Four researchers of the Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre gave talks on their recent research results on bio-nano science and technology. Two master course students of IdNS gave talks on advanced nano materials they have successfully synthesised. Post-doctoral researchers and students also gave poster presentations. The speakers and participants discussed future research collaboration and application for EU funds such as “Erasmus+” and “Horizon2020”.
