Extension of the “Erasmus+ Programme” approved by the European Commission
Extension of the “Erasmus+ Programme” approved by the European Commission
Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport. The Erasmus+ Programme, which the Politehnica University of Timisoara (PUT), Romania, had applied for in collaboration with Toyo University, was accepted by the European Commission, EU in 2017 and the Programme was successfully carried out in both Romania and Japan in 2018.
The extension of the “Erasmus+ Programme” has just been approved by the European Commission.
There is one category; that is, “Staff mobility for teaching assignment (STA)”, in the present programme.
One teaching staff member is invited to participate in the Erasmus+ Programme in collaboration with PUT.
Invitation to the Erasmus+ STA programme
1. Teaching staff member:
One professor, associate professor or lecturer from Toyo University is invited to participate in the programme.
2. Duty:
To give scientific lectures for 8 hours to undergraduate/graduate students and/or young researchers such as post-doctoral researchers at PUT.
3. Period of stay:
5 days in 2024
4. Award:
€2,480 will be transferred to the participant’s bank account from PUT for an economy class return flight, accommodation and daily expenses
5. Important dates:
The application form should be submitted to the Research Promotion Office, Toyo University, by 29th February 2024.
An appropriate teaching representative will be selected by the Selection Committee composed of the President, the Vice-President in charge of the Promotion of Education, the Director of the International Affairs Office, the Dean of the Graduate School of Life Sciences and the Director of the Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre, Toyo University. The result will be announced on 11th March 2024.
