Trapped beyond the great barrier, the anchor of the Mistrealms, designed to thwart the outward bound intentions of any who would try the barrier, the world started as a loosely stitched series of extraplanar demesnes, anchored around a Tower. Gradually, after much work, turmoil, death, and rebirth, the land became the lands now known as Toworia.
