Our Story

La Union NM is a small village that was settled in the mid 1800's. It was formed by the joining of two former pueblos, “Los Ojitos” and “Los Amoles.” Both pueblos were united and moved to higher land to avoid frequent flooding caused by the Rio Grande, thus coining the name “La Union.”

Its residents experience desert climate. Hot and dry during summer with a monsoon season towards the end of it. Our winter in the other hand is not that cold and has a little snow but you cannot underestimate the desert! It could be very chill and you may feel it in your bones...

You will enjoy a quick twenty-minute drive from El Paso, TX with open spaces, pecan farms, horse stables, vineyards and spectacular sunsets that ensure peace of mind

La Union is the perfect place for anyone trying to escape the bustle of city life… Don’t miss the opportunity to visit us.
