Students are expected to complete homework daily.  There is no specific amount of time they should do this for however a rough guide is 1 hour, we would prefer quality revision not a large quantity of work. This homework is to help them remember the knowledge they have been learning in class.    

Our homework works on a basis of Revision of the knowledge and then applying that knowledge (Application). 

Student have a red exercise book each week which is used for revision.  They have a green exercise book for application. 

Each week they will either be revising (Week A) or applying  (Week B)  and they should check the timetable for this.  

Using their 100% booklet (We call it this because it contains 100% of the knowledge needed for this term) they should complete the work set for that week. 

Tutors will check the revision is completed on the following Monday and teachers will check that their application tasks are completed.
