Our Physicians

ANITA LANE MD, FACP

Dr. Lane was born and raised in Joliet, IL. She is the first physician in her family and thanks an influential science teacher for getting her where she is today.

She received her undergraduate degree in Speech from Northwestern University in 1987. She graduated medical school from the University of Illinois and did her post-graduate training at Northwestern University in Internal Medicine. She moved to Colorado Springs in 1994. She joined the Penrose-St. Francis Medical Group (later known as Mountain View Medical Group) and practiced with them for 17 years. She enjoys promoting preventative health and solving complicated cases. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is a Fellow in the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Lane is married and has three daughters. She has served on the Board of Directors of Centura Health, the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center and the Rocky Mountain Women's Film Festival. Her hobbies include outdoor fitness, reading and performing in musical theatre.

DANIEL FELLHAUER MD

Dr. Fellhauer completed his medical degree at the University of Missouri - Columbia in 1980. He then spent the next 3 years in the family medicine residency program at Mercy Medical Center in Denver CO. Upon finishing his training in 1983 he took over a family practice in Colorado Springs. His medical practice included both office based patient care and hospital inpatient care and he treated patients of all ages including obstetrics.

In 1994 Dr. Fellhauer and several other physicians formed the primary care group, Penrose-St. Francis Medical Group (later to become Mountain View Medical Group). He retired from this group in December 2021.

Dr. Fellhauer is excited for the new opportunity to work with Dr. Anita Lane at Touchstone Internal Medicine. It has always been his passion to provide excellent medical care with compassion and an emphasis on patient centered care.

He has been married for 11 years to his wonderful wife, Lauri. They share 4 children and 8 grandchildren together. His family enjoys many activities together such as hiking, biking, skiing and traveling.
