About the Founder

Rosario Fernandez is the founder of Total Mental Healing, LLC, a mental health practice. She is a board-certified mental health psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) specialized in the treatment of Depression, Anxiety/Panic disorders, PTSD, Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, ADHD, Insomnia, and Addiction medicine. She has worked in the mental health care field for over 15 years as a psychiatric nurse in outpatient clinics, private practice, and hospital settings. Rosario is a bilingual (fluent in Spanish), multicultural provider who enjoys working with people of diverse ethnic backgrounds and cultures. 

Her experience qualifies to offer effective outpatient, individualized psychiatric care. Rosario is fully trained in both adult and geriatric mental health. Her role is to provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnose, treat acute/chronic psychiatric disorders, and prescribe medications.

Her approach towards each individual is nonjudgmental and her goal is to deliver care in an empathetic manner, to understand and help people who are struggling with emotional stressors, traumas, mood disorders, and substance abuse affecting their personal/social relationships, work, school, and their physical and mental well-being.
