Chemistry is a laboratory-based class designed as a basic preparation for college science courses. It focuses on matter and the changes that matter undergoes. It encourages the student to gain an understanding of many of the common phenomena encountered in life. It increases a student’s ability to make a logical approach to problems through the scientific method.

CHM388 HONORS CHEMISTRY: One term - 1 lab-science credit

Prerequisite: 10th, 11th or 12th grade standing and successful completion of Algebra and Honors Biology or Biology or instructor approval

This class moves at a faster pace and covers more advanced material than the regular chemistry class.
