This exciting course offers students the chance to learn basic health concepts familiar to all medical careers such as anatomy, physiology, communication, First-Aid/CPR/AED, and basic health science foundation sciences in combination with hands-on skilled labs/medical skill techniques. The main topics include prevention, recognition, treatment, and basic rehabilitation of injuries/illnesses (lower extremity), nutrition, drugs and emergency procedures.
