This course will cover family relations and relationship with others at home and in the work place. Emphasis will be placed upon the role of the caretakers within the family and professional setting.

This course will cover the growth and development from prenatal to death. Students will explore the importance of prenatal care and the first months of infant development.

Careers in family and human development will be explored with possible classroom experience in a preschool/child care setting.

Other areas of concern will be nutrition and health care.
