CEA is a 2nd tier engineering course, offering preparation for college. CEA provides an overview of the fields of Civil Engineering and Architecture, while emphasizing the interrelationship and dependence of both fields on each other. Students use state of the art software to solve real world problems and communicate solutions to hands-on projects and activities. The course is rigorous and requires time and organization even for the above average student. To successfully complete this course; students must earn a 70 – 100%. Students who receive a B or better as a final grade will also receive dual credit through Yakima Valley Community College Tech Prep.
