AE is a 2nd tier engineering course, offering preparation for college. AE offers students hands-on engineering projects developed with NASA, students learn about aerodynamics, astronautics, space-life sciences, and systems engineering (which includes the study of intelligent vehicles like the Mars rovers Spirit and Opportunity). The course is rigorous and requires time and organization even for the above average student. To successfully complete this course; students must earn a 70 – 100%.
