Course description

Agricultural metals is a course in mechanical aptitudes and skill instruction in a range of areas including general metal shop safety, power tool safety , shielded metal arc welding and safety, oxygen acetylene safety, welding and cutting , Gas metal arc welding, plasma cutting, and metal project fabrication. For the hard working motivated student this course provides an excellent foundation of metal shop skills witch can be coupled with math and science courses to propel students towards additional technical training programs or enrollment in Apprenticeship training programs. Students desiring to pursue a career in Engineering or the construction trades are highly recommended to take this course.
