How the Class Works

Canvas

Tooele Canvas can be accessed at school and at home. Anywhere you can access the Internet.

We will be using the Tooele County School District's Canvas page.  Below will be a link to get there or you can do a search for Tooele Canvas. https://tooeleschools.instructure.com/login/canvas 

Student's login will be their SSID number and the password is stuStudentID(lunch number).

Parents

Tooele Canvas can be accessed at school and at home. Anywhere you can access the Internet.

Please follow these instructions to follow your student in Canvas:  community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10913-414473163  By following your student you will get reminders through your email about upcoming assignments and quizzes. You can see if your student is submitting their work on time.  You will also be able to communicate with me on questions you have on the assignments. You will need your child's Student's Pairing Code this is how you get it. https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-15036-4212938128 .

Google Drive Account

Tooele Google Accounts can be accessed at school and at home. Anywhere you can access the Internet.

We will also be using Google Drive Applications such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides. Each student has a District Google Drive Account. As long as the student is attending Tooele County Schools they will have access.  The login to the google account is their firstname.lastname@tooeleschools.org.  The students have created their own password to keep their account secure. 

What to bring or NOT to bring to class

Chromebooks, backpacks, pencils, notebooks, reading glasses (if required) and a water bottle.  

NO Cell Phones are allowed at the school during school hours. They are not to be accessed during school hours. If your parents wish to leave a message, they can in your voice mail or in an emergency, they can contact the front office.

3. Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat.

4. Make Smart Choices

5. Make your "dear teacher" happy. (Applies to all teachers.)
