Citizenship Test Prep & Legal Aid - Brooklyn Public Library offers a range of resources, services and programming for those preparing to become United States citizens
Pro Se Clinic - New Sanctuary Coalition runs a weekly clinic staffed by non-attorney volunteers supervised by immigrant rights lawyers and organizers. Clinic is Tuesday evenings 6-8:30p at NYU Law School. Info on how to train to be a volunteer here.

Therapy for Black Girls - Blog, Podcast and directory of of mental health professionals across the country who provide high quality, culturally competent services to Black women and girls
Identity House - volunteer community that provides counseling services to LGBTQ+ adults. Free (now virtual) peer counseling, support groups, and referrals to short-term and long-term therapists
Do For One: TONYC is building a partnership with an organization called Do For One. Their work involves carefully identifying folks who are socially isolated (usually due to disability) and intentionally matching them with individuals who can provide them with ongoing support as advocates and friends. Please email elizabeth@tonyc.nyc if you would like to be connected. For 2025 they are looking to support people in the following circumstances:
They are in unstable housing situations or living in a controlled facility (e.g. nursing home, mental health facility)
They need advocacy support, where the advocate they are matched with can advocate on behalf of them to safeguard against poor services, neglect, or even abuse
The Evolution of LGBTQIA+ Narratives on Broadway - provides a detailed exploration of how LGBTQIA+ narratives have developed and been portrayed in Broadway productions over the years, offering historical context, analysis of key productions, and insights into the ongoing impact of these narratives on the broader cultural landscape
Neighborhood Opportunity Network (NeOn) - HSE classes, employment preparation, mentoring, healthcare, literacy programs, arts, and sport programming
Pride Path: Career Training for LGBTQ+ Youth - Career training opportunities for LGBTQ+ young adults such as job readiness, leadership development, financial empowerment, and resources for continued education
New Settlement YouthBuild - a U.S. Department of Labor-funded program that builds the employment skills of youth, ages 16-24, by training and placing them in employment in the construction trade industry
