Systems thinking is a mindset and approach that emphasises the relationships, interdependence, and connections in our complex world. Today’s most pressing challenges—from climate change to clean energy, from social inequity to economic development, food security, ocean health, and biodiversity—are all inextricably intertwined. A growing number of impact investors recognize that there are no standalone issues. Effective solutions require a nuanced understanding of these systems and an embrace of their complexity.
Discover how the Three Horizons Framework integrates systems-awareness with self-awareness to bring a more effective and holistic approach to impact investing. By providing a structured framework to assess the present, recognize emerging shifts, and align actions with a long-term vision, investors can choose to tackle urgent challenges we face today or focus on driving transformation of complex systems like finance, climate, and social equity - with greater consciousness.
Compared to conventional investing, impact investing is a complex beast, with no single "right way." We’ll use the investment portfolio of a family office committed to deep impact to uncover some of the elements you need to create a strong portfolio: impact assessment and measurement tools, and an impact policy statement based on your theory of change. This will be an interactive session. Bring your questions!
For Toniic's 100% Network members and those interested in joining the 100% community, we will be hosting a retreat (28-30 March) at Mossy Willow, Danny and Berry’s home and regen ag farm on the gorgeous Mornington Peninsula, a short drive from Melbourne. We’ll explore how to apply big concepts - like Sociocracy - to our personal lives. We will practice the art of holding difficult conversations across generational and political divides, an art which has a direct impact on how we shift our systems. This will be an opportunity for reflection, deep connection, and restoration.
We are grateful to be hosted by Toniic members Danny and Berry from Small Giants.
Our Main Gathering in Melbourne will take place at The White House in St Kilda, a historic 1854 building that now serves as the home of Small Giants Family Office and Small Giants Academy. This vibrant space fosters learning, connection, and collaboration, alongside values-aligned organizations working toward positive change.
For the 100% Gathering, we’ll head to Mossy Willow Farm in Main Ridge, a 25-acre working farm on Boon Wurrung Country. This is a space for deep connection and wisdom-sharing, rooted in regenerative farming practices that nurture the land and its community.
Be sure to say hi to the Toniic team while you're here—especially our new CEO, Dara Parker! We’re excited for you to meet her and share in the conversations shaping our community.

The Wisdom & Action Forum: An Invitation for Toniic Members
Hosted by Toniic members Danny and Berry Almagor from Small Giants, the Wisdom & Action Forum is an invitation-only gathering of 300 leaders, designed to push the boundaries of thought and action. Open to Toniic members, this year’s forum builds on its inaugural theme, We Are Nature, exploring how nature repair, conservation, and biodiversity ripple across every aspect of life—our communities, systems, and future.
Toniic members attending the forum are also invited to join an exclusive dinner with WISDAC main stage speakers the evening before the forum.
