WEDDING ENQUIRY FORM

Hertfordshire Wedding Singer & Acoustic Live Looping Guitarist

Live Music for Your Ceremony, Reception & First Dance – From £500

Available across Herts, Bucks, Essex & beyond

From your first steps down the aisle to the final song of the night, I provide live music that captures every key moment of your wedding day.

I’m Tom Wackett, a Hertfordshire-based wedding singer and guitarist, and I’ve had the pleasure of performing at beautiful weddings across the UK, particularly throughout Hertfordshire and the South East. From rustic barns like Milling Barn to elegant manor houses such as Chilston Park, I bring music that fits the space and the moment perfectly.

If you’re looking for live wedding music in Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, or Northamptonshire, I’m here to help bring your day to life with music that feels personal, heartfelt, and completely yours.

I specialise in live looping, building each song in real time by layering guitar, percussion, and harmonies to create a rich, full sound, similar in style to Ed Sheeran. This allows the music to grow naturally, whether it’s relaxed acoustic songs during your drinks reception or upbeat singalongs as the celebration gets going.

Using my live looping setup, I create the depth and energy of a full band, all from one performer. Whether your wedding is in an intimate venue or a larger space, I’ll read the room and shape the music to match the atmosphere, helping create moments you and your guests will remember.

"It was just perfect"

★★★★★ "Tom performed at our wedding yesterday, 19/06, it was just perfect and he was top tier. He smashed the ceremonial songs, taking the time to learn the songs we requested and can't thank him enough. The guests have all said how great he was and had a range of songs he performed to suit all. Hopefully we cross paths again in the future!! Thanks again, Tom!"maps.app.goo.gl/zPqbVFmSrDaZtgNu7

"He made the day complete"

★★★★★ "Where do we begin… Tom was so lovely leading up to the wedding, accommodated our song choices and learnt them beautifully. Tom played for us during our ceremony and drinks reception and all of our guests haven’t stopped talking about him since. He made the day complete and we’re so grateful for the atmosphere he created! 5 ⭐️!!"maps.app.goo.gl/N4n2ptXdBhv9Ctqd9

"Your future couples are so lucky"

★★★★★ "Tom performed a set at our wedding reception November 2024 and was incredible and well received by our loved ones. He added such a unique and special touch to our day, even learning Taylor Swift songs (after learning I’m a big fan) Tom was amazing from our very first enquiry with his communication, pre wedding call and we had every faith in him on the day. The only thing I would recommend is to book him for more than just one set! He was incredible and we wished we had more time to listen to him outside of photos etc. We decided to attend an event of his after our wedding to enjoy his music and extend the wedding bliss. Thanks so much for everything Tom! Your future couples are so lucky to have you! 🫶🏻"maps.app.goo.gl/GbzkwJ8ucqHnDaKH6

"I will forever be grateful to you"

★★★★★ "Tom is the best choice I made for my wedding (second only to the groom)! I still get tears in my eyes when I hear Tom's voice singing my first dance song. I didn't want a singer/band at the wedding originally. I wanted just a DJ. It was my husband who convinced me to get live singing and I have never been happier to have been wrong before! Tom, you were just amazing, right from the begining, sending us the song to practice in advance and making such a great start to our party. I will forever be grateful to you ♥️"maps.app.goo.gl/4954dUPAkzLdPx8C7

Frequently Asked Questions

Planning your wedding music should be just as exciting as planning the rest of your day! To help make things easier, I’ve put together a list of frequently asked questions about my services. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to reach out – I’m always happy to chat.

What makes your performances different from other wedding musicians?

I perform using live looping, meaning I layer guitar, percussion, vocals, and harmonies in real-time – creating the sound of a full band, live. It’s exciting to watch, always unique, and gives your wedding music a rich, dynamic feel without overwhelming the moment.

Can we request specific songs for the setlist?

Absolutely! I typically learn 2–3 special songs for each couple — especially for moments like the ceremony or first dance. I also ask if there are any songs you don’t want played, so everything feels personal and on-brand. To give each song the care it deserves, I ask that all special requests are sent at least four weeks before the wedding.

Do you take requests during the event?

I don’t take song requests during the event. I’ve honed my craft over years of performing, and I know what works best to create the right atmosphere for each part of the day. I’ll tailor the setlist beforehand, and make sure it flows perfectly. However, for key moments like first dances or father-daughter dances, I’m happy to play your personal song choice.

How long will it take to set up?

Setup typically takes about 60 minutes, but I like to arrive 90 minutes early to make sure everything is perfect. This gives me time to set up the sound, check levels, and ensure everything’s running smoothly without rushing, so you can enjoy a stress-free day.

How long are your sets?

My standard performance is 90 minutes. This can be split into two 45-minute sets with a 15-minute break, or played as one continuous 90-minute set — whichever fits your timeline best.

Do you play music between your sets?

Yes – I provide a curated playlist to keep the atmosphere going while I take a short break. If you have a specific playlist you love, I’m happy to use that too.

What if my wedding venue has sound restrictions?

I use two Bose portable speakers for my performances, which allows me to adjust the volume as needed. This is one of the advantages of my setup, as I can work within the venue’s sound limits and still deliver great sound. I’m always happy to work with your venue to ensure everything meets their guidelines.

Do you use strobe lighting?

I keep lighting to a minimum, as I believe minimal lighting works better for the style of music I play. Unlike a DJ setup, I prefer to focus on the music itself, creating a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere that suits the vibe of your day.

How far do you travel?

I’m based in Hertfordshire and regularly perform across the surrounding counties and beyond. I’m happy to travel nationwide as long as travel expenses are covered, with additional costs applying for bookings over 75 miles from Hertfordshire.

Can we see you play or watch a video before we book you?

Yes, absolutely! I regularly perform at public events across the Home Counties (listed on my event page). You can also watch videos of my live performances on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/@tomwackettmusic or get a behind-the-scenes look on my Instagram www.instagram.com/tomwackettmusic.

How do we book you?

It’s nice and simple:

  1. Fill out my enquiry form to check if I’m free for your date.

  2. We’ll have a quick chat (by phone) to talk through your plans and make sure we're the right fit.

  3. Secure your date with a 10% deposit. The balance is due one week before your wedding.

After that, I’ll guide you through song choices and planning the music as your big day approaches!

What happens once we book you?

Once your date is secured, I’ll guide you through choosing the perfect songs for your day — from the ceremony to the final singalong. Around four weeks before the wedding, I’ll check in to confirm all the details, including timings and logistics. On the day itself, I’ll arrive early, set up quietly, and handle everything music-related so you can relax and enjoy every moment.

Do you have insurance and PAT-tested equipment?

Yes – I’m fully insured with public liability cover, and all my gear is PAT-tested. I can send the paperwork to your venue if needed.
