From helping you choose songs to walk down the aisle to to bringing everyone together for a big singalong later in the evening before handing over to your DJ, I provide live wedding music that feels personal, relaxed and completely suited to your celebration.
I’m Tom Wackett, a Hertfordshire wedding singer and guitarist specialising in modern live wedding music across Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties. From rustic barn weddings to elegant country house celebrations, I create performances that fit naturally into the atmosphere of your day.
If you’re looking for live wedding music in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex or Northamptonshire, I offer acoustic performances that feel warm, heartfelt and natural, helping create moments that feel completely yours.
I specialise in live looping, using guitar, vocals and layered instrumentation to build each performance naturally throughout the day, from relaxed acoustic songs during your ceremony or drinks reception to fuller moments as the celebration unfolds.
For couples looking for the atmosphere of a live wedding band in Hertfordshire, my live looping setup creates a bigger sound while still keeping the feel of live acoustic music.
Inspired by modern acoustic artists such as Ed Sheeran, I shape the music around the room and the people in it, whether performing in an intimate wedding venue or a larger celebration space.

I perform using live looping, building songs live using guitar, vocals and layered instrumentation to create a fuller sound throughout the day. This allows the music to grow naturally with the atmosphere, from relaxed acoustic moments during your ceremony or drinks reception to bigger singalong moments later in the evening.
For couples looking for the atmosphere of a live wedding band in Hertfordshire, live looping allows me to create a fuller sound while still keeping the feel of live acoustic music.
Absolutely. I’m always happy to include important songs you love, special requests for key moments such as your ceremony or first dance, and any songs you would rather avoid. I usually shape the main setlist around the atmosphere of the day, allowing the music to flow naturally and fit the moment as it unfolds.
If there’s a song request, I already know and it fits the atmosphere of the day, I’m always happy to include it where I can. I also work closely with couples beforehand to make sure the most important songs are already part of the plan.
I usually arrive at least 90 minutes before performing to make sure everything is ready without rushing. This gives me time to soundcheck properly and ensure everything runs smoothly throughout the day.
Yes. I can provide background music between live performances to help keep the atmosphere flowing naturally throughout the day.
I use a professional Bose sound system that allows me to adjust volume levels easily depending on the venue and atmosphere. This means I can work comfortably within sound restrictions while still delivering clear, high quality live music.
I don’t provide lighting as part of my setup. Most wedding venues already have their own lighting in place, and I prefer to keep the focus on the atmosphere and the music itself throughout the day.
I’m based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire and regularly perform across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Northamptonshire and the surrounding counties. I currently take bookings within around 75 miles of Hertfordshire.
Yes, absolutely. You can watch videos from real weddings on my YouTube and Instagram pages or come along to one of my public performances. I list these on the events page.
